Entry fee is $30 if you pre-register or $40 on the day of the derby, and kids 15 and under are free. Those participants age 15 and under who wish to complete against adult derby participants for the main prizes must pay the regular adult entry fee. Those age 15 and under who fish for FREE in the junior category will be eligible for Junior Angler prizes. Derby day: Check-in is at 8:00 am and will be located on the ice just off the Terry Fox Park parking lot in Ninette, MB. Fishing will be from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm with prizes to be awarded after that. Hot lunch and beverages will be available for purchase. Please bring your own 5 gallon bucket (or similar container) to transport live fish to the measuring station. Holes will not be pre-drilled, however if you have no means of drilling a hole we are going to try to have a few volunteers on hand with augers to drill holes for participants if needed. We are pleased to announce that our top prize for the longest fish caught in the Adult (paid) Category this year will be a 2017 Can Am Outlander 450 ATV! We encourage everyone to pre-register at as it makes derby morning run much more smoothly. Each participant including those 15 and under must be registered separately. If you pre-register AND pay before February 26th (in Adult Category) you will be entered into the early bird draw to win an Outbound Crystal 2 Ice Fishing Shelter!
